Pacifická přímořská ekozóna (ohraničená kanadským pobřežím Tichého oceánu) kryje přes 195 000 km2 a má snad nejteplejší a nejvlhčí klima v Kanadě. Vysoký srážkový úhrn a celoročně mírné teploty podporují prosperitu velkolepých a dnes vzácných temperátních deštných lesů mírného pásma s největšími a nejstaršími stromy (douglasky tisolisté - Pseudotsuga menziesii, zeravy obrovské - Thuja plicata či smrk sitka - Picea sitchensis). Území se vyznačuje ekosystémovou rozrůzněností, bohatstvím fauny a flóry.

The Pacific coastal eco-zone (bounded by the Canadian coasts of the Pacific Ocean) extends for more than 195,000 km2 and is characterized by probably the warmest climate with the highest moisture in Canada. High precipitation and mild temperatures throughout the year favour these magnificent and now very rare rain forests of the temperate zone with the greatest and most ancient trees (Preudotsuga menziesii, Thuja plicata or Picea sitchensis). This area is characterized by ecosystem variability and richness of fauna and flora.
