Článek shrnuje nejzajímavější nálezy rybí fauny z paleogenních sedimentů moravské části flyšových Karpat. Je i malou exkurzí do historie výzkumů, která spadá už do poloviny 19. století. Představuje vývoj rybí fauny (žraloci a kostnaté ryby) v rámci menilitového a ždánicko-hustopečského souvrství a její význam z hlediska paleogeografie Západních Karpat.

This article summarizes the most interesting records of fish fauna from Palaeogene flysch sediments in the Moravian part of the Carpathians. It is also a small excursion into the history of research dating back to the mid-19th century. I present the evolution of fish fauna (sharks and bony fish) within Menilitic and Ždánice-Hustopeče formations and its importance in the palaeogeography of the Western Carpathians.
