Článek se zabývá problematikou invazivních mykotických infekcí vyvolaných vláknitými houbami. Jsou uvedeny nejčastější rizikové faktory, nejčastější typy invazivních infekcí a možnosti diagnostiky a léčby těchto infekcí. Invazivní mykózy jsou obvykle spojeny s vysokou mortalitou.

The article deals with opportunistic fungal infections caused by hyphomycetes. It discusses risk factors in patients, the most common fungi causing infections, the most common types of invasive infections, and the ways to diagnose and treat these infections. Invasive infections caused by opportunistic fungi are usually associated with high mortality.
