Výzkum pralesů přináší nejen primární poznání dynamiky přirozených lesů a nové obecně ekologické poznatky.

Forest research does not just provide primary knowledge of the dynamics behind natural forests and new general ecological knowledge. Some procedures can be used in forest management to modify forest silviculture practices. Following the pattern of mixed forests, we can adjust the mixture of woody species and the spatial arrangement of the stands so as to better withstand the pressure of bark beetles. The dynamics of the beech forests guide us with regard to how to use bio-automation principles and save on financially expensive educational interventions. Mixed low-level forests are the inspiration for choosing the size of the renewed area for light-intensive trees.
