Někteří živočichové z aridních oblastí získávají vodu pomocí tzv. chytání deště (rain-harvesting) chování, kdy využívají plochu těla jakožto kolektoru vodních srážek. Autoři studovali toto chování u několika druhů agam rodů Trapelus a Phrynocephalus a srovnali některé rozdíly (např. využití kapilarity pokožky a gravitace) se známými údaji u agamy Moloch horridus a ropušníka Phrynosoma cornutum.

Some animals living in arid areas obtain water by rain-harvesting behaviour when they use the surface of their body as a rainfall collector. The authors studied this phenomenon in some agama species, belonging to the genus Trapelus and Phrynocephalus. Some differences found, for example, in the use of the epidermis capillarity or gravitation, were compared with the data obtained from the Thorny Devil (Moloch horridus) and the Texas Horned Lizard (Phrynosoma cornutum).
