Přiblížení mobbingu jako reakce ptáků na predátory, jeho adaptačního významu a forem. Konkrétní příklad experimentu studujícího reakce vrabce domácího (Passer domesticus) na atrapy 3 různě nebezpečných typů predátorů - krahujce obecného (Accipiter nisus), sýčka obecného (Athene noctua) a straky obecné (Pica pica) v hnízdním a mimohnízdním období.

Mobbing is a response of birds to a predator and has various forms. The author studied responses of the House Sparrow (Passer domesticus) to three different avian predator models, namely those of the Sparrowhawk (Accipiter nisus), Little Owl (Athene noctua) and Magpie (Pica pica) in and outside the breeding season. The adaptive significance of such behaviour is also discussed in the article.
