Vztahy v České republice vzácného mravence lužního (Liometopum microcephalum) k ostatním živočichům se teprve začínají studovat. Kutilky rodu Tracheliodes jsou specializovány na lov mravenců podčeledi Dolichoderinae a druhy Tracheliodes curvitarsis a T. varus loví pro výživu svých larev právě mravence lužního. Autoři přibližují vzhled a biologii obou těchto druhů kutilek, které mají v České republice (jižní Morava) severní hranici výskytu.

Relations of the ant Liometopum microcephalum, rare in the Czech Republic, to other animals have begun to been studied only recently. Digger wasps of the genus Tracheliodes specialise in hunting ants from the subfamily Dolichoderinae. The digger wasp species: European ant hunters Tracheliodes curvitarsus and T. varus hunt precisely the above-mentioned ant species to feed their larvae. Both species of digger wasps live in Southern and Central Europe, with the Czech Republic, namely South Moravia, being their northern limit of distribution range. The authors outline the appearance and biology of both the digger wasp species.
