Okáč voňavkový (Brintesia circe) je nápadný velký druh motýla, který na území České republiky ustoupil a nyní se začíná opět šířit. Z území středních Čech existují velmi stará hlášení o výskytu, která byla již ve 30. letech 20. století zpochybněna. Druh se zde ve druhé polovině 20. století určitě nevyskytoval. V roce 2016 byl okáč voňavkový nalezen na lesostepní stráni u obce Hradčany. V textu jsou uvedeny další nálezy z uvedené lokality a okolí (Žehuňská obora), které dokládají recentní kolonizaci stanovišť.

The Brintesia circe is a conspicuous large species of butterfly that disappeared from the Czech Republic but is now beginning to spread again. From the territory of Central Bohemia there are very old reports of its occurrence, which were already being questioned in the 1930s. The species certainly did not occur here in the second half of the 20th century. In 2016, it was found on a forest-steppe slope near the village of Hradčany. The text informs about other finds from the site and its surroundings (Žehuňská deer-park), documenting the recent colonisation of habitats by this species.
