Projekt občanské vědy Nářečí českých strnadů (viz Jedna píseň tucetkrát jinak, Živa 2024, 3), zaměřený na prostorovou variabilitu ptačího zpěvu, po několikaletém útlumu od roku 2025 znovu ožívá. Vyzýváme širokou veřejnost, aby přispěla k co nejlepšímu pokrytí území ČR nahrávkami zpěvu strnada obecného (Emberiza citrinella). Chceme zejména ověřit, jestli se hranice strnadích dialektů mění v čase a nakolik stabilní jsou neobvyklé lokální dialekty.

The citizen science project Dialects of Czech Yellowhammers, which focuses on the geographic variability of birdsong, is being reignited in 2025. We call on the general public to cover the territory of the Czech Republic with recordings of the songs of the Yellowhammer (Emberiza citrinella). We aim to investigate whether the boundaries of its dialects change over time, and how stable unusual local dialects are.
