Článek dále představuje metody zkoumání tohoto fenoménu a výsledky dlouhodobého výzkumu v České republice.

V tištěné Živě je v obr. 8 na str. 288 mezi druhy u osy x chybně uvedeno druhové jméno smělku, místo smělku štíhlého má být správně smělek jehlancovitý. Za chybu se omlouváme.

Almost half of plant species can use large herbivores as vectors for dispersal. We should not underestimate the effect of these animals on the landscape, as they can facilitate the spread of both rare and invasive plant species. This process can effectively lead to significant changes in plant communities. The article also presents methods for studying this phenomenon as well as results from long-term research conducted in the Czech Republic.
